Guide to Access for Those with Disabilities

Picture
This guide provides information for visitors with disabilities or mobility impairments.
The Church
The parking lot and sidewalks leading to the Church are smooth and level and ramps are provided for any changes in levels.  We have an elevator accessible from outside the Church that leads to the narthex/gathering space.  The restroom in the Church is newly installed and fully accessible.
Our Parish Hall
Access to the parish hall may be difficult for those with mobility impairments. There are three ways to reach the hall from the Church.  The first one involves three 7" steps through a 30" door. The second alternate entrance to the hall is through our Meditation Garden and involves a 7" step into a breezeway and then a 7" step into the hall.  Assistance using these first two way may be helpful.  The third way is by using a concrete ramp at the rear of the Church that leads to the kitchen area then to the hall.  Entry using this ramp will require assistance.
Meditation Garden
Access to the garden is fully accessible from the parking areas.  Seating is available in an Adirondack-style chair which may be difficult for some with mobility impairments.
Service Animals
Service Animals, as defined by the ADA, are permitted everywhere in all buildings and on all grounds.
