Mission and Outreach

Mission Statement
Our mission is to transform our community in the image of Jesus Christ, made visible by all people, by the way we live our life in faith; using our minds to think, our hearts to love and our hands to serve.
Will you seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving your neighbor as yourself?
From the Baptismal Covenant of the Book of Common Prayer

St James tithes on its pledge income annually. This past year we gave nearly $6,000 to community programs.

Walk for Warmth
Walk for Warmth is a wintertime outreach that addresses the needs of those in our community who do not have the means to stay warm during the winter. In Cheboygan County, our families, friends, and neighbors are struggling financially more today than at any time in recent memory; many to the point of having to decide between providing food for their families or heat for their homes.
Join the team from St. James as we help those who are less fortunate in our community. For more information call 231-627-6011
